Data Collection

If you contact us directly, we may receive information about you such as your name, email address, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide.

Locally Stored Data

• We do not collect or have access to any of the data within the App.
• All data generated and stored by the App remains locally on your mobile device.
• There is no connectivity or cloud-based connections to external servers for data storage or processing.

Apple analytics

We have access to Apple Analytics which contains the analytics data that allows us to see non-identifying information about our users for the purpose of improving the application performance, quality, crashes, and unresponsive events. For instance, we can see the number of failure hits, package version, Country, Device type, iOS version, iOS release version.

Unique App ID

• We use RevenueCat to track app store subscriptions.
• To facilitate this, we track a unique app ID for each user.
• The app ID is a randomly generated identifier created when the App first launches.
• This app ID is not personally identifiable and does not link back to any user-identifiable data.

Optional ChatGPT Feature

The data used for generating these summaries is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to any external servers.

The App includes an optional feature that utilizes ChatGPT to generate behavior summaries based on the data collected within the App.

Data Usage

RevenueCat

• The unique app ID is used solely for managing and tracking your app store subscription through RevenueCat.
• This helps ensure that your subscription status is accurately maintained and verified.

Behavior Summary (ChatGPT)

No data used in this process is shared or transmitted outside of your device.

The behavior summaries generated by ChatGPT are based on locally stored data and are used to provide insights and summaries within the App.

Data Security

As all data is stored locally on your device, the security of this data is subject to the security measures and protections provided by your device’s operating system. We recommend using strong passwords and keeping your device’s software up-to-date to enhance security.

GDPR Data Protection Rights

We would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

The right to access – You have the right to request copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.

The right to rectification – You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request that we complete the information you believe is incomplete.

The right to erasure – You have the right to request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to data portability – You have the right to request that we transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

Data Deletion Rights

You have the right to delete your personal data that is collected and stored by our app, in compliance with applicable privacy laws.

What Data Can Be Deleted?

You have the ability to delete the following data from within the app:

• User Account Information: Your unique user identifier (stored as userIdentifier) can be deleted. This identifier is used to manage your account and subscription details.
• Observations: Any observational data you have recorded, including student names, observer names, behavior details, session notes, and other information related to the use of our app.
• Custom Settings: Data associated with custom buttons, drag-and-drop objects, and other customization settings.

How Can I Delete My Data?

You can delete your data at any time directly within the app by following these steps:

• Navigate to the “help” section in the app.
• Scroll down to the “Data deletion rights” section.
• Your account identifier (userIdentifier).
• All observation records and associated data.
• All customizations

Once deleted, this data will no longer be recoverable. Additionally, by logging out from your account, we will disassociate your userIdentifier from our system.

Data Retention After Deletion

Once you delete your data through the app, it will be permanently removed from local storage on your device.

Your Subscription
