Capturing ABC Data Observations

This page is where the ABC Data Collection is captured.

To begin an observation, start by pressing a behavior button. When you select a behavior, the following will happen:

  • The button will turn red to indicate that the behavior is active.
  • A new row will be created in the table at the bottom of the page.
  • A timestamp will be added to the table.

Note: You can select multiple behaviors at a time if you are observing more than one behavior simultaneously.

Once a behavior is active, the timer will be running for that behavior. You can now fill in the associated antecedents and consequences in the row within the table. When the behavior ends, press the associated red behavior button again to stop the timer. You can continue adding antecedents and consequences after the behavior has stopped, if necessary.

Additionally, you can add overall session notes at the bottom of the page.

Using the AI Notes Generator

Our AI Notes Generator leverages all the ABC data you’ve entered to create structured, insightful summaries that streamline documentation and enhance the quality of your behavior assessments. This tool is designed to save you time and provide a comprehensive overview, ensuring your observations are clear and actionable.

How it Works: The AI will analyze the ABC data you’ve recorded along with any additional input, such as details on the “most challenging behavior observed” and “how it impacted the classroom environment.” By combining these insights, the AI generates a response that captures behavior patterns and contextualizes them in a summary that’s ready for reporting or further analysis.

To Try It Out: Press the expand button to open the additional input fields. Once complete, the AI will automatically generate a comprehensive response informed by the behaviors and context you’ve provided. The output is automatically appended to the bottom of the session notes.
